Editor's Corner

Hello, dear readers!

The editing world has been crazy busy these days, but I have to take a moment to share some news with you.

After 14 years, Editor’s Corner is going away. Well, at least in its current form. I will try to salvage what is on the website for internal people to use as a reference to all of the things we’ve covered over this time. After I figure that out, I should be able to set aside a little bit of time to write a monthly article. We’ll see how that goes!

For now, I want to thank Shawn Albert Shepherd for suggesting I start Editor’s Corner, and to thank Donna Bradley Burcher, Jackie Solano, and Ben Ritter for the time they spent adding their own articles and lessons to the site. Donna gets extra points for all of the times she has edited the articles for me. She has kept me from sharing some of my off-color humor (only some) and things that would’ve been considered “over the line.” Thank you, Donna.

I particularly want to thank all of you. Thank you for reading the articles, for asking me questions, and for sending me interesting tidbits of knowledge that I could share with everyone. You have made this my favorite part of my job.

So, I bid you adieu for now.
